Hi, I'm Bertus and it's a pleasure to share our story.

2007

In Bloemfontein South Africa, the first ProCell was born. I recall spending all of my $7500 savings and thankfully that store still operates today, repairing phones and selling related electronics.

Students

Training many technicians to ensure the best quality repairs. Mr Jim Mahoney has been a wonderful teacher over the years and we are honoured for our training centre to carry his name.

Training Centre

To open more stores we had to train more technicians and the training centre was born.

With good growth and more branches it was time to start importing our own goods.

2011

This was our first import, a good old Samsung J750 charger, they sold very well!

2018

Our new warehouse is completed to keep up with growing imports.

All work no play

More space to enjoy, but soon it is time for a bigger warehouse.

2021 Going Online

A new world opened up for us once we started selling online.

Sourcing

Expanding to new categories meant new suppliers and we have had a good experience buying from Alibaba and Global Sources.

OEM

Over the years we have added to a growing list of in house OEM brands.

2024 Amazon

Amazon South Africa launched in February 2024, with some good sales since then, we see a bright future.

After learning some hard lessons our refined strategy is paying off and we are breaking records each month.
